Branding Christo Knives, a small shop that creates beautiful handcrafted edged weaponry. The client was interested in a completely custom word mark that could be unique to the brand but also be legible at very small sizes (ie. on the edge of a blade).

The Georgia Pacific Virtual Comparison Tool. I worked on this app from concept to completion, starting with pencil sketching out floor plans and angled views of standardized rooms where GP products would live. After sketches, we had the rooms 3D modeled and designed an app that allowed visitors to explore the rooms as well as use the Advisor to get product recommendations based on their specific needs.

A responsive website design for the Colorize Your Classroom Sweepstakes and Contest. The goal of the site was to create a voting platform in teachers would enter submissions to one of four individual contests for a chance to win $5,000 for their school.

A branding project for an ongoing series of video portraits highlighting wonderful people around Atlanta, GA. The aim of the series is to celebrate the artists, designers, entrepreneurs and rain-makers. I created the brand logo system, and was featured as one of the creatives. Check em out!
A mural design I did for Swarm, a conversion marketing agency in Atlanta. The mural was painted in one of the conference rooms called the "Hive."
An animated video project for PureCars. Founded in 2007, PureCars has worked with dealers to provide consumers with Value Reports to showcase their inventories best attributes. Today, PureCars has grown into a leading digital marketing platform that brings consumers from search to showroom. I worked with my creative director Nate Scronce to sketch out the storyboards, and design the scenes. We then partnered with animator, Bren Isabell, to bring the story to life.

No Shave November is the time when a select few choose to put away their clippers and razors. The time to become walking, talking billboards for the 30 days of November. Through our actions and words, we can raise awareness by prompting private and public conversation around the often ignored issue of men’s health. for the past three years I have branded this month of awareness. Roupala is a lifestyle brand dedicated to inciting global change through environmentally and socially responsible apparel. For every Roupala product sold, 435 square feet of rainforest is purchased for permanent preservation through the venerated non-profit, Rainforest Trust.
Starting from rough sketches, I created this design as a tribute to those lost in the Charlie Hebdo massacre. The design was then published on wallpaprapp.com as a free iPhone wallpaper for download.
Whatever you do, do it with Gusto! A few thumbnails I drew at the Creative South workshop this past summer. I've heard nothing but great things about the conference, but the actual thing completely exceeded my expectations! In a beautiful town, with great food, surrounded by insanely talented folk. You can't ask for a better way to refuel. I was honored to be able to give a workshop on hand lettering, and my process of exploring as many different styles as possible.

A Best of Food Badge for Feedly, a news aggregator application for various web browsers and mobile devices, also available as a cloud-based service. It compiles news feeds from a variety of online sources for the user to customize and share with others. This badge was created to award selected foodie sites featured in the Best of Food section.
A personal project to create a custom script logotype for one of my favorite bands, The Black Keys.
The Jackson Spalding culture focuses strongly on recognizing quality work and fresh ideas and the High Five logo is a key component. It needed to be refreshed to present a more solid and modern logotype. Hand-drawn lettering was used to create a more tactile, versatile mark that can consistently be incorporated into the overall display for presentation. This mark was featured in the 2014 Communications Arts Typography Annual.
